Thank you for the success of our Valentine's Day event: BAGGAGE Claim

 

About 150 people came by to see and participate in BAGGAGE Claim, write some break-up notes, and try out some delicious baked goods.  A very exciting event!

 

GALLERY SHOW UP UNTIL MARCH 4: Me and You and You and Me

 

Rylee Eterginoso will exhibit her ongoing conceptual and participatory work “The Breakup Project.” The artist asks participants to examine the relationships they have with other people, objects, habits, etc., which are ultimately toxic and then, in an act of catharsis to break up with them via letter. Selected submissions will be on view as well as a letter writing station.

 

feistberger presents “U|S” - the story of a relationship told through material evidence. Erica Freyberger and Patrick Feist archive the evidence of their unfinished relationship, resulting in an installation of hundreds of scraps, keepsakes and souvenirs. “U|S” exists as a time capsule to a come-and-go romance that can only be described as complicated.
