Morgan Miller was raised between Texas and California growing up and studied Art History and Theory. Her style is largely influenced by all great nude painters of the past: Schiele, Dürer, Ingres and so on. With her educational background there is certainly a Barthes influence and semiotics play a large role. Crossing erotic boundaries, Miller has found a niche with her oil paintings and the sexualized animal in all of us.
