Yori believes that creating art is the best way for her to understand her existence, who she is and what she's doing. Yori says that she always tries to keep her eyes open and her mind clear in order to discover beauty in its various forms. Recently she's been interested in expressing the bodily movement of dance in her paintings. She also wants to incorporate the rhythmical component of music in her work. She says of her canvases that they can be read as if they were a musical score. Basically, she's interested in capturing visually a celebration of life through movement.
