Rentals
BAG is pleased to be able to offer our gallery space for event rentals. We can host up to 75 guests for cocktail-style wedding receptions, graduation or birthday parties, anniversaries, or celebrations of any stripe. For sit-down affairs, we can accommodate closer to 35 guests.
The gallery has 850 sq. ft. of floor space, 11 ft high ceilings, a large adjustable lighting system, and a sound system with iPod hookup. For event inquiries and quotes, please call at (718)858-9069.
Event rentals include:
- A staff member on hand for the duration to help with questions or problems
- Coat rack
- Elevator access for guests
- Optional rental of additional tables (5) and chairs (25)
- Sandwich boards for displaying signs or posters outside the building
- Recycling and garbage disposal
You may provide, on your own:
- Food and/or drinks (catering is fine, but there is no kitchen available to prep in)
- Decorations, including set-up and clean-up
- Music, whether a live band, a DJ, or an iPod for our sound system
- Table and chair rental, if you opt for your own
Prices will always vary on the size, length, and any special considerations for your event, but a general guideline for our fees is:
Evening rental (6pm – 12am)
- Weekend rate, gallery only: $650
- Weekday rate, gallery only: $350
- Before 6 or after 12: $50/additional hour
Hourly meeting/workshop rate
- Up to 10 people: $50 hour depending on availability
- More than 10 people: please call to discuss your event
