BAG ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE & BAG MEMBERSHIP

BAG ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE
The BAG Artist-In-Residence program provides artists with 24 hour studio access, 7 days a week, community to discuss and create work, and opportunities to show and sell work, among other benefits. Call or email us to set up a tour of the studio space.

BAG Artists-In-Residence benefits:
Studio: 24/7 access to about 4000 square feet of open artist studio space.
Lockers: Space in lockers for your art supplies.
Drying racks: Large individualized drying racks for your artwork.
Light: Terrific natural light and color-corrected daylight light fixtures.
Equipment: Easels, tabourets, tables, stools, chairs and a large slop sink area.
Critiques: BAG invites gallery owners, curators and critics for studio visits.
Gallery Openings: Invitations to all of the BAG Gallery openings.
Gallery Rental: Gallery rental discounts.
Show Opportunities: Invitation to participate in select Gallery shows
Figure Drawing: Figure Drawing Session discounts. Schedule and rates.
Workshop Discounts: Discounts at workshops and classes.
BAG Mailings: Email mailing -list notice of events and BAG Gallery shows.
Art Supply purchase: On-site access to reasonably priced art supplies at BAG through The Artful Place.
Health insurance: Access to low cost health insurance through our relationship with Fractured Atlas.


Cost:
Month to month: $220/month.
Six month commitment: $195/month. This is available on autopay only.
Private and semi-private studios: Contingent on availability. Prices vary.

Payment Details:
Payment reserves your place. Acceptance is subject to approval of the application and signing the contract. The contract is available at BAG, and must be signed by both the artists and BAG. If the applicant is not accepted, all money will be refunded minus the $35 application fee.

Refund Policy: All cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the start date and Brooklyn Artists' Gym will withhold 25% of the total initial fee. Any cancellations made after this deadline (two weeks prior to start date) are not eligible for refund or exchange.
