The BAG Gallery seeks submissions for our upcoming show BKLYN:111. All work submitted to this fundraiser show will be considered donations to the non-profit BAG Fund.

Gallery Show Dates: October 17 - 25, 2008
Opening Reception: October 18, 2008 (held during AGAST Tour)
Benefit Reception: October 25, 2008

Call for Submissions: This exhibition will include work from traditional to the abstract and conceptual.

Images created via any medium will be accepted for consideration (i.e. photography, video, painting, sculpture, installation, illustration, alternative medium, etc.), so long as the object is created by a working artist. All works must not exceed 36 inches in width, height or depth and may not suspend from the ceiling.

All work must be properly framed and ready to hang.

Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for this show. All participating work donated by artists to raise funds for the non-profit BAG Fund.

Submission Deadline: The Entry Materials must be received by September 26th, 2008.

Submission Directions: Complete entry form. Submissions will be through email. All images must be .jpg files. File size: No more than 1.8 MB. Resolution: 100 dpi. Submission images must be accurate representations of the actual work. Works that differ significantly from the images submitted may be excluded. Submitted work must remain in the gallery for the entire show.

Artwork Drop Off: Accepted work can be hand delivered to BAG between October 12 and 13, 2008. On Sunday October 12 between 12:00-2:00pm or Monday, October 13 between 12:00-2:00pm.
Postal Delivery must be delivered to BAG by Friday, October 10 with postage paid in full by the artist.

Final acceptance of entries in the exhibition is up to the Curator's discretion after viewing the delivered framed work.

Insurance: BAG carries no insurance for loss or damage to artwork in the gallery or in transit, nor assumes any liability for same. Every precaution will be taken to ensure the safe return of all materials, but the gallery cannot be responsible for loss or damage.

Use of images: All entrants agree that any image they submit to BAG may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to this BAG Gallery show. This use may include publication in any BAG publications, printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media, including but not limited to the BAG web site and gallery show. Any image used by BAG shall carry a credit line of the artist. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist.
